Project Coordinator

I have lived and worked in this area for more than 30 years. I have always been committed to environmental education, from my early days as a Countryside Ranger for Stirling Council to working with the Scottish Environmental Education Council and now with the churches' environment programme and, of course, Callander and Climate Change.

The natural world is my passion and my inspiration, it’s where I re-connect and re-energize. I feel very fortunate to live in such a breathtaking area as the Trossachs. Professionally, I coach organisations, communities and individuals on their process towards true sustainability. I am delighted to work locally for the C&CC Project, to help us build a more sustainable future.

I love living in Callander amongst the hills and forests with my husband and 3 children. I feel privileged that my daily life includes seeing herons and red kites. Working for Callander and Climate change presents me with the perfect opportunity to integrate my work and my home life and to contribute towards a better future for our children.

Callander is such a beautiful place and I feel extremely lucky that I am able to live and work in this community amongst all this natural beauty. Working for Callander and Climate change - and especially on supporting the development of a renewable energy project - is my chance to look beyond myself and really contribute to something I believe is good for me, good for the community and ultimately good for the planet.

I moved to Callander 4 years ago with my husband and my son as I always came here as a child or passed through here to climb the mountains. I want my son to grow up in this beautiful place surrounded by lochs, hills and mountains. I therefore feel privileged to be part of Callander & Climate Change and hope to set up local food projects to help on the journey to a low carbon community.

The opportunity to combine my passion about people and communi-cation with working in such a spectacular place as the Trossachs is truly fantastic. I have lived here for 12 years in this dynamic community, and I realise how fortunate I am to enjoy living and working in such a wonderful place and I am keen to help play my part in creating Callander’s sustainable future for us all.
